About Us
The Cagayan de Oro Integrated Health Foundation was established last February 7, 1995 with Securities and Exchange Commission Registration No. HN095-00037.
This was established as one of the corporate social responsibility arm of the Polymedic Medical Group of Hospitals.
The purpose for which the corporation is incorporated are:
1. To package and/or to initiate health related projects that will benefit the underserved and deserving patients and communities of the city.
2. To develop and undertake capacity building and training activities to enhance the skills of targeted health care workers both in the private and public sector.
3. To conduct free clinic and outreach programs for the poor and disadvantaged area.
4. To coordinate and conduct health related research and studies to evaluate on going health programs.
5. To provide advisory services for health institutions to improve their systems and procedures.
6. To serve as conduit to implement foreign funded health related projects for the benefit of the city’s populace.
The foundation has been conducting medical missions and fun fair at Jasaan, Misamis Oriental since 2015. At present its activity has also included donation of medical supplies and equipment to government hospitals for COVID-19 pandemic response, sponsoring dialysis treatment procedures to eligible renal patients and help cover expenses of hospital bills to indigent patients.
